M&S wanted to deliver digital training and development across retail under the programme of The M&S Way to evolve the delivery of training to time poor and highly mobile retail staff. M&S wanted to engage and communicate with staff to extend the reach of real world training and skills best practice development.
Over a period of three years Atticmedia have delivered a number of original and innovative courses and training to frontline retail staff in General Merchandising, Home, Food, as well as corporate staff.
Each course was developed in close collaboration with M&S to develop best practice and process across departments and key functions using great storytelling, stylish design, visuals and video production.
An example of creating innovative digital learning solutions is theory driven learning in Colour Management. Courses we developed with M&S presents the technical science of colour in developing clothing alongside courses such as Fit and Flatter taking learners through the garment development process.
For M&S Food we created 'Bake it Well'; a skills training course based on a light entertainment TV cooking show format for bakers running the in store bakery and responsible for managing and delivering high quality and consistent baking.
M&S have been highly complimentary about Atticmedia’s ability to quickly understand a given challenge then present creative ways to tackle the problem. They particularly liked the way we work with SME’s to draw technical expertise into a well rounded and coherent user journey, and present it in an accessible way to the learner.
M&S have continually commented on the quality and unique approach Atticmedia delivers. Our production values, level of creative thinking, planning and attention to detail and service has created a highly collaborative way of working.
