TEG engaged Atticmedia to provide digital design and technology (DDaT) services in the technical development of a delivery platform for “Parlo”, an English language learning service.
The Parlo platform consists of a student facing smartphone app and a web based content publishing platform behind the scenes. The core concept is delivering learning through high end video content.
Initially we developed a series of proof of principle prototype interactions that demonstrated that we could deliver an integrated learner experience…having interactive elements seamlessly integrated into the episode videos delivering the key learning practice moments.
From these initial technical tests we developed a wide range of interaction types that could be linked to allow for an extensive bank of capabilities when content authoring. As well as developing the app and the content publishing workflow we also implemented the technical architecture and services to allow Parlo to scale.
Parlo has just launched in Brazil.
